I am a Mother most importantly....

Yes i am- A story that follows me wherever i go, so i have recently reflected upon this subject many a times with close friends - they can't believe it and neither can i- But it is truly real each morning i wake up and each night i lay my head on a pillow..

There are too many words to describe the LIFE of me! I love everything about it - yes even the hard, rough and painful times that we come across.
Some look and think another teenage crisis thats happening in this world today- but only those who know of me or watch will see its a very much different situation- but hey thats only one of the lovely oppositions i face on a daily basis that makes me .. ME!!
Some just need to stop before they judge, there are many who have found themselves in a similar situation as myself and i can honestly say some have turned/grown to be what i call amazing mothers.
I come from a very large family- from that i have lived a life surrounded by many mothers and many children (aunts & cousins).
From a young girl i always knew i wanted to be a mother when i grew up and in my years in high school i did alot of babysitting for church members- and had a love for those kids that will stay with me forever.

Here I am today 22yrs of age, married to the most amazing guy in my life with 3 children who have changed our lives, we watch each day that passes wondering could this truly be real? is this really our life? ...and all we can do is turn to each other and express how BLESSED we are! Blessed to have such amazing children who make our daily life..so far so easy! Don't get me wrong we have struggles and rough days but overall i get much praise from those around me that i praise my children everyday on how much i love them for who they are-

Children are to be children, Kids are to be Kids- Right here is where i am a big believer in, I want my children to have the ability to eat dirt, roll in the mud, have cake smothered on their faces, tumble and roll down green grass, jump in puddles with raincoats and gumboots on a rainy day, have a wild imagination. Yes as most of you know thats hard for me to allow at times- dirt, blood, & crying is not always what i would like to see my kids experience- thats where i am grateful they have DAD!!
Yes you could say i am the more structured, play by the rules, stay neat & tidy side of the household ... because i am the MUM.. no!  mainly because thats where my personality comes in- whereas Khan is the outrageous, rough it up, dress it down and 'lets play' side of our family- and thats how we complement each other to make our family work, and i have to admit i dont like the look of somethings but at the same time i am so happy they get to enjoy being KIDS- but i do have limits trust me!! I strongly believe you need to - to keep things stay balanced.

Many watch & see and ask how we do it! Everyone is different and handle things differently- Right now my kids are what makes things easier for me, they have since day 1. I have been lucky not to have gone through the teething problems with all 3- they teethe and don't make a fuss- they do dribble, get rosey cheeks to inform us that its happening and the occasional fever - but other than that no screaming kids.
From newborns to now when they get sick they have always taken it in their stride- i can only tell that something is wrong because they will sleep, cuddle and not move out of their beds or seat ..... their faces show the signs- and thats all. They love been adventurous and they love the outdoors- and boy do they love water. They are very curious children and not always the first to run and jump straight into things. Alot of times they like to check everything out before they try - I am so grateful they are like that.

But all i can say is this is now- who knows what tomorrow is going to bring and the years to come- things may change... But as for now things are just lovely and i enjoy every moment that comes- but i shall say it makes things alot harder to stop having such wonderful children.
