KIDS!!KIDS!!KIDS!!

Yesterday early hours of the morning i rounded up the troop into  their trackies and loaded them into the car and we set off to

Sydney's Paddy's Markets
I had decided this was something i wanted to do on a regular basis and see if it makes a difference to our budget- with 3 kids who love their fruit & veges - i tend to be at the local supermarket spending countless $2-$3 3 days a week at least just topping up on fruit & veges for school lunches and dinners.

So today we had $10 just to go have a look and figure the place out- I used to love waking up at 4am on a saturday morning and head off to the markets with my mum & sis. Alice Brown to go fruit shopping- especially in summer- with all the seasonal fruit.

The parking was horrendous- so many CRAZY drivers no actual parking spots - just a get in get lucky spot parking. Once we found our spot we went inside & that was even more packed- i couldn't remember it been this bad- but i guess i never had to worry about 1 big trolley & 3 kids in a jammed packed area.

We got a whole box of our favourite apples (40 apples) for $5 and Navel Oranges $3 2kilos- (15) - at the supermarket i maybe lucky to get 8 apples for 2.50 and 4 oranges for $3

the kids absolutely had fun taste testing many other fruits- and enjoyed the new atmosphere- lots of fruit to choose from and found it very funny to see lots of funny people yelling out prices- Cortez was a parrot and went around copying everything he heard -
"$10 a box of apples only $10"
So with $2 left we went to the Flower Market across the parking lot & we got 2 bunches of my favourite flowers- one in my favourite colour & the other bunch kaela chose... they are just so bright and made our day!!

We went home to find we have so much colour in one section of our house that it made us appreciate colours- We love bright & colurful things in life- it makes us feel all the above.

This is definitely going to be an ongoing event- It was so cheap! and loads of fun-

All the things that make our kitchen area a fun place.

Hospital Fashion!!

Just wanted to share the little things that made my stay in hospital last week a tad bit more entertaining.
So i found out that Westmead Hospital has nicer food than Hornsby- your Hot Meals actually are hot and everything has a nice taste, and breakfast even arrived at the same time my kiddies would be eating breakfast- SO i still felt my routine was continuing here at the hospital-

And the other fun thing was my special SOCKS!!! Oh yes they were comfy- and very stylish!! Khan enjoyed teasing me and trying to encourage me to wear them outside - but unfortunetly these socks weren't going anywhere past Room #3- and only me and the blankets were ever going to enjoy the fun of humiliation-
Their just Suppression Socks (ted stockings-hospital terminology)- they are supposed to help prevent blood clots in your legs. Not that i've ever had blood clots- but because i was summoned to rest the majority of the time i was there- i was to wear them so i didnt have to get out of  bed and continuesly move my legs-

But HERE i share my embarrasment - it doesnt feel so bad to share when you are not in that time of moment!!

Pregnancy #4

So here i am- at one of my favourite moments of life- I can't explain the joy, happinesss it brings to my life having another baby.

Even at at a time like this- Its still a wonderful moment in time!!
It all began on thursday- I woke up to find i had two sick monkeys who had the vomit bug - Khan and Jazzie.
So my morning stayed on track, breakfast, showers, getting the kids dressed, cleaning, tidying, car packed, lunches ready - work stuff ready etc. My day was going to be slightly detoured- Cortez n Mackaela skipped happily into to daycare wishing their daddy n sister a good day, then i took the sicklies to our GP- they got given advise on what to do- which was no science but as a mother is always reassuring to hear a doctor with a fancy paper and nice pay cheque reassure your instincts were correct.
Then a funny feeling came by me- Not usual for me, im usually more worried about my daily schedule staying on track to keep me focused- but for some reason i was calm about been 2 hrs late to work with no notice to my boss- and thought i better dedicate a few minutes to the one inside me who has been keeping my days and night carry on non stop!

Since everyone else in the family were ready for their day to begin- I took the time to get a quick antenatal check over-
I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have smooth pregnancies and dont experience anything too dramatic- my days seem to fly past- and especially with this pregnancy i have had the ability to work 7mnths full time- on a constant move with 3 kiddos at school & daycare and a wonderful supportive husband who works full time always on my side - putting up with my compulsive cleaning and organising at strange times of the day and our crazy schedule.

Well the lovely GP decided to really give my day a twist by measuring our little bub to be- and informing me that she would like me to check in to the hospital to get some formal measurements as she has found the baby to be measuring 5weeks bigger than my date-NOW thats what i call a big difference- So as instructed we headed back to the car and made our way to Westmead Hospital-

It was packed!!! for anyone who doesnt know westmead hospital- it is one of sydneys biggest health hospitals with alot of specialty areas. And their Maternity Clinic had over 100 pregnant patients at 10am just for daily appointments- Anyhow i was told to go home wait for a call and i will be given a time to come in and get checked out- as their wasnt anything major wrong with bubs everything was healthy it was only some measurements.

So as the day rolls- i drop my sickly company home with their daily survival needs and head off to work as normal- As i did my daily work catch up - i started to feel slightly ill and that i could feel myself coming down with Khan and Jazzie's sickness- as always i ignore and keep on trooping through the day-

I left work after i did what i needed to and started feeling worst- just knowing i had a few errands left i kept soldiering knowing i can get through- so i checked on my sick chickens at home- cleaned & refreashed my home and quicky headed back out to collect the littlies..

Finally home - i settled everyone down for a little dinner- and relaxed ready for the night-
My wonderful kiddies trodded of to bed right on the dot- and i found my self just so uncomfortable-
Took some panadol and headed of to bed-  6PM came along and i couldnt ge to sleep- i was in,out, up and about every few minutes- decided to jus sit up and talk or annoy khan with continuos back rub requests,

It hit 8pm and i started recieving abdominal pains at 15 minute intervals that were slightly controllable- Once it hit 10pm i knew for sure the feeling was familiar they were contractions trying to force my mind to think otherwise- i just could not deny what was happening once they struck 5 mins apart -

So we packed bags and waited for Delese to come and watch the kiddies while we went- but i was wanting to be in denial so much that this wasnt happening- i stayed at home to sit in my comfy lounge with deles and a few other girls who were nice enough to keep me company- Khan then happily went back for a sleep while i kept focused on timing these contractions.

I had a big headache and needed another dose of panadol only to vomit everything up (sorry for the grotty detail) but it did feel great afterwards-

Well that ended up slowing down my contractions once i got that over with- thinking it was all over- they started up again 10mins apart- Long story short

I was put in Birthing Unit to find i was in early labour that needed to be stopped as i am only 33 weeks.

So here i am after many injections, medication, drugs, pills etc- this baby is still trying to come- but i think he's starting to relax a little and calm down after been prodded and dosed up many a times.

Now we are on the all clear just waiting for the okay to go home- Its now Sunday as you can see.

Oh and forgot to mention- formal measurements & ultrasound and results are we have one big baby-
so its not a wonder why he his measuring full term- but theres still a risk his organs are not full term developed which is why they are so keen to keep bubs in as long as possible.

Hopefully our little bubby will keep these doctors happy til their ready and just have a dose of paitence til its time..

Miss my Babies at home very much and am so proud to have such an amzing husband who can carry on the load!!! Miss them dearly and cant wait to be up and about again....

Saturday Fun Day!!

Well this was a saturday that doesn't come very often- Mummy had the day off work, thanks to a lovely boss who has made my career fit my family- very fortunate i am!!
We woke up bright and early to take Khan to work all the way out to penrith- The kids really enjoy long trips- and i enjoy it because they make it such a relaxing time.

We didn't have much planned- we were going to suss out some new parks- but cortez wasn't feeling so good, so we popped into the good ole favourite place of Grandma's House.

We were able to go to Rouse Hill Shops- where Mackaela got here right ear re-pierced, she was such a brave girl once again, not a tear was shed!! the piercing staff were in amazement of how brave she was-
I did get one big hug from her though!! She was so proud of herself.

My girls love earrings- i cant stand them on too long, they tend to irritate me- The girls both got their ears pierced at 4 months old- Jazmine has never played with hers much- but Mackaela tends to always twirl at her right ear - hence been the second piercing.

She chose a beautiful gold hearted earrings with a small diamond inside.

We then went back to Grandma's for lunch- and the kids enjoyed a spray under the sprinkler in the backyard- they had lots of fun with aunty zana and storm!! Was a brilliant idea for hot day-

We did however had to leave and head back to pick dad up from work!! But manage to finish our day with ice creams & a lovely rest at home.
