Christmas Day

Christmas Morning started with the Christmas Story and a special online chat with our family members on the gold goast (Uncle Boz, Aunty Jess, and cousins Zayvia, Jai and Leah) via skype and opening presents.

We then had breakfast, followed shortly after with a delightful brunch organised by some lovely chefs of the day- namely Grandma, Aunty Cie, & Aunty Zana

It ended up been a beautiful sunny day!! And as you can see we had a lovely day..
Santa dropped presents at our house instead- such a suprise it was!!

Soon It Will Be Christmas...Christmas Eve

Christmas 2010 for our family started on December 24th at Grandma & Papa's Home-
We were so lucky to be able to have a sleepover & wake up early to open presents and hear Papa read the Christmas Story.

Before getting in to bed - They were still able to put out Cookies & Milk for santa...

The kids have such lovely aunties, and lucky for them their Aunty Cie had prepared a comfy bed to sleep under the christmas tree- It was such a TREAT..

They even got read a Christmas Bedtime Story by PAPA to help put them to sleep so that santa would come quicker,

The night before christmas eve

Our spirtual tradition..

Another family tradition we have chosen is to attend temple lights wherever we maybe in the time of christmas! This year we were able to be in our hometown SYDNEY, it was just absolutely spectacular- we hope we can carry this tradition on when our children are older and have families of their own.. It was wonderful to see people come of the street not members of the church who have made it their traditon and to see the respect they have for our temple also.

The kids loved all the lights and asked if they could live there- i guess they can feel the peacefulness and joy it brings!!

Our Water Babies!!

Cortez - been Buzz Lightyear!!

Our  Underwater mermaid!! Jazzie

Mackaela loves blowing bubbles and looking underwater for her Daddy!!
Thanks to Grandma Bridget our children have the joy of getting taught how to swim- Makes my life as a mother a lot easier & relaxing knowing they have confidence in water- I am so grateful that not one of my children have been afraid of the water... its the other way around we have trouble getting them out of the water, and you can be guaranteed that my kids will have a splash in rain, hail or shine (that's if they are allowed... So for last few weeks Khan & I have had the opportunity to spend our time in the pool with these kiddos..

December 2010....

"The Best Of all Christmas gifts around a Christmas Tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other"

#1 Family Tradition - we put our christmas tree up on the 30th of November with all its decorations and lights and at midnight the lights are turned on to welcome in the 1st Day of the Christmas Season (December)

This year our Little Man had the privilege of putting our star on our tree (each year we all take turns) he was so excited his first time. Here are more pictures of the girls so proud of their artwork- Its Our Start to the much excitement that happens in our home in the Month of December..

#2 Tradition (new) - To make something out of Gingerbread

Therefore our first year starting the new tradition we made classic mini gingerbread houses, which was so much fun-  I mixed, Khan rolled -I cut, Khan Glued ..... and the munchkins DECORATED!!
and worst of all the plumbers had done something to the pipes and left us stranded without any water in our home which made cleaning up a fun adventure
